Elf World Creations is pleased to present Collyna, a five inch standing Wise Elf Maiden from the damp mossy region of GrindenWold. Collyna is young by GrindenWold standards but may well be as old as the marshlands. She certainly seems ready to impart some words of wisdom ...

Collyna has been sculpted with my own blend of polymer clays over a stone core. She is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade as always without the use of moulds here at my studio in the heart of the Sussex countryside. She has been gently blushed. Collyna has mohair hair and arresting handblown gilded violet glass eyes created here at the Studio. She stands just under five inches tall.

Collyna of GrindenWold will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator of children's books. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives. Her work has been featured in Dolls House and Miniature Scene Magazine and can be seen in permanent exhibition at The Old Loom Mill Craft Centre, Hailsham, Sussex.
