Fishing Woodlander Elf Art Doll 'Skilicorne' on pond tableau OOAK Sculpt by Sculpture Artist Ann Galvin

Step into Elf World and meet Skilicorne the Fisher Woodlander Elf seated on a boulder with fishing rod and waterhole, all handcrafted here at the Elf World Studio; a unique art doll from artist Ann Galvin of Elf World Creations.

Skilicorne is an angler Elf catching his supper in a vivid waterhole. He is a very sweet-natured Elf, careful not to crush the wildflowers with his big feet ... he has caught a little fish which may not be enough for supper. Skilicorne is a Woodland Defender protecting his home in Friston Forest from any threat; he may be keeping some enchantments under his hat ... he is a silent deceptive Defender of the Realm. Skilicorne is fixed on his modelled base. His clothes and hat are not removable.

Skilicorne has been sculpted with Cosclay. He has sparkling onyx eyes and mohair locks and is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. He is five inches seated but with those long legs he would be about nine inches tall if he was able to stand up!

Skilicorne the Fishing Woodlander Elf will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with over thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives.
