Step into Elf World and meet MelodyThicket the Coppice Gnome; a Woodlander Art Doll from artist Ann Galvin of Elf World Creations.

MelodyThicket is an Elfling, Forest Defender and Woodlander from Friston Forest in Sussex England. She is also a horticulturalist with precious acorns at her feet. She has an enchanted miniature acorn button on her robe, just in case a little magic is required while she is working. She is just three inches tall and has amazing handmade glass eyes.

MelodyThicket has been sculpted with my own blend of polymers. She has stunning golden glass eyes and wispy mohair hair and is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. She is three inches tall and is fixed on a modelled base with acorns.

MelodyThicket the Coppice Gnome will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with over thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives.
