Loam Piksie 'Klaritty' 4" Beetal Pod Art Doll OOAK Sculpt by Artist Ann Galvin Pixie Elfling

Step into Elf World and meet Klaritty the Loam Piksie; a tiny rustic art doll from artist Ann Galvin of Elf World Creations.

Klaritty is a Piksie, Forest Defender and Woodlander from Friston Forest in Sussex England. She is mischievous and secretive, guarding her assortment of toadstools and blossoms amongst the tree roots. At just four inches she is one of my smaller art dolls and is presented on a base with leafy fronds and toadstools embedded. Klaritty is not removable.

Klaritty has been sculpted with Cosclay over a beetal pod and wooden armature. The toadstools were created using cold porcelain. She has sparkling green glass eyes courtesy of Kathryn at Bramber Bears and wispy mohair hair. She is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. Klaritty is just four inches tall and is fixed on her base.

Klaritty the Loam Piksie will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with over thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives.
