Step into Elf World and meet 'SilvanBir' the Winged Tree Elf ~

SilvanBir is a Tree Elf, light on the wing, her rustling flight blending with the sounds of wind through the leaves as she keeps an eye on the Foot Gnomes from above. Any hint of trouble and she will send a warning with her high-pitched whistling and bird-calls ...

This is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. Modelled with my own unique blend of clays, painted with heat set paints before sealing with lacquer, SilvanBir has expressive black onyx eyes. She features detailed wings handcrafted with TLS and Mica powders using leaves from the beautiful silver birch tree in our garden which inspired this story. SilvanBir the Tree Elf is three inches tall.

SilvanBir the Winged Tree Elf will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

Ann Galvin is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives.
