Step into Elf World and meet Brydd Ariette the Glow-worm Whisperer Elf; a unique poseable art doll from artist Ann Galvin of Elf World Creations.

Brydd Ariette is a Twilight Elf lighting the way for lost travellers with her flock of tame glow-worms. She is a very sweet-natured Elf, handling her beloved glow-worms with care ... she has two glow-worms in her hands and a nest with a further three at her feet. These worms will glow in the dark after 'charging' on a sunny window-sill or under a lamp for an hour or so. Brydd Ariette carries three magical spell bottles with golden stoppers in case she gets into any difficulties. As a Defender her main duty lies with protecting the Woodlands from any threat; these enchantments may be essential ... she is a silent deceptive Defender of the Realm. Brydd Ariette is fixed on her modelled base. Her clothes and hat are not removable.

Brydd Ariette has been sculpted with Cosclay over a strong wire armature and is gently poseable. She has handmade green glass eyes and silk hair and is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. She is just eight inches tall. Glow-worms are not removable.

Brydd Ariette the Glow-worm Whisperer will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with over thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives.
