Elf World Creations is pleased to present Ghyllis, a two inch standing Rock Knoll Gnome with a stalwart expression . Ghyllis is a very young magical being with oversized hands ... he is learning to forage in the soil and collect magical glowing rocks. Ghyllis is a Gnome of few words, he wears his gilded robes and jewelled belt with pride and will not keep you awake at night with incessant chattering ...

Ghyllis has been sculpted with my own blend of polymer clays. He is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade as always without the use of moulds here at my studio in the heart of the Sussex countryside. He stands just under two inches tall. Ghyllis has large capable hands and a wide-framed body; this is very useful for a Gnome as he is not easily toppled in a scrap!... Ghyllis is permanently attached to a modelled base with a glass flagon containing rocks and a few more ready to be added ... these will glow in the dark if placed on a sunny windowsill for an hour or so to re-charge ... Magic!

Ghyllis the Rock Knoll Gnome will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives. Her work has been featured in Dolls House and Miniature Scene Magazine.
